Linzhi airport pick-up - Yani Wetland Park - Linzhi

[Travel Overview]:
After arriving in Linzhi, we will present a Hada to welcome you and then proceed to Yani National Wetland Park. This is a wetland that combines the competition of rivers and streams, beautiful scenery of fields and gardens, ancient temples of divine mountains, and historical smoke and clouds. The clear Niyang River flows quietly here. Grasslands, streams, cattle and sheep together form a landscape painting of Jiangnan in Xizang. Stay at the hotel in Linzhi in the evening.

This day is crucial for first-time visitors to Tibet, as most of them may experience varying degrees of altitude sickness. In addition to maintaining a calm mindset, drinking more water, eating more fruits, and getting enough rest are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness. Also, avoid drinking alcohol, smoking less, and refrain from washing your hair or taking a shower that night.

Linzhi - Mount Sejila (with a distant view of Mount Nanga Bawa) - Lulang Linhai - Lulang International Tourism Town - Linzhi

[Travel Overview]:
After breakfast, drive east along National Highway 318 and cross Mount Sejila. At the summit of Mount Sejila (4720 meters above sea level), if the weather is clear, you can see the most beautiful mountain peak in China, Mount Namgabawah (7782 meters above sea level). The mountain of Mount Namgyapawa is covered in snow all year round, shrouded in clouds and mist, making it difficult to reveal its true face. The best time to appreciate it is from October to May of the following year, and it is known by many outdoor enthusiasts as a snow capped mountain that "meets by fate".
Afterwards, descend the mountain and drive through the primeval forest, experiencing the beautiful scenery along the way. Along the way is the Lulang Forest Sea, the primeval forest with the largest timber reserves in Xizang, which has been known as the "Little Switzerland in the East" since ancient times.
Then drive back to Linzhi and check into the hotel.

The Sejila Pass is the best location to view Mount Namgabawah, and the best time to view Mount Namgabawah is from October to May of the following year.

Linzhi Basongcuo (Holy Lake of the Red Religion) Linla Expressway Lhasa

[Travel Overview]:
After breakfast, head to the famous holy lake of the Red Church, Basongcuo. The shape of the lake is like a crescent moon embedded in high mountains and deep valleys. The lake water is clear to the bottom, and you can see groups of fish swimming two or three meters below. The surrounding green mountains are a deep shade of emerald green, and the mountaintop is covered with snow that never melts throughout the year. The snow capped mountains by the lake and the snow capped mountains reflected on the surface of the lake intertwine and stretch endlessly, creating a magnificent sight! On Zaxi Island in the lake, there is a Nyingma sect (Red Sect) temple called Cuozong Gongba Temple. It is said that the temple was built in the late Tang Dynasty and has strong Gongbu characteristics, integrating primitive worship with Tibetan Buddhist beliefs.
Afterwards, stopping on the Tang Fan Ancient Road, it was as if one could see the magnificent procession of Princess Wencheng when she entered Tibet, returning to Lhasa along the "Tang Fan Ancient Road" in infinite nostalgia, and enjoying the beautiful natural scenery of the Niyang River Valley along the way.

Lhasa city (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street)

Visit the Potala Palace after breakfast. The Potala Palace is located at an altitude of over 3700 meters and is built along the Red Mountain (117 meters high, with a total of 13 floors and a length of over 360 meters from east to west). Potala "is the transliteration of Putuo Luo, which means the palace where Bodhisattvas reside. It is a building integrating palaces, temples and stupas. It is also the ruling power center of the integration of politics and religion in old Xizang. It is divided into the Red Palace and the White House. The Red Palace is the spiritual tower hall and various Buddhist temples of successive Dalai Lamas;
Jokhang Temple, also known as "Zulakang", means "scripture hall" in Tibetan. It has a history of 1350 years and is the oldest temple in Lhasa. It is still the central temple of the entire Tibetan region with a high status. The temple houses a gilded statue of Shakyamuni Buddha at the age of 12, as well as statues of Songtsen Gampo, Princess Wencheng, and Princess Chizun. After visiting Jokhang Temple, you can feel the scene of Tibetan people lighting butter lamps and circling around Bajiao Street. The entire Bajiao Street echoes with the sound of the six character mantra "Om Mani Bami", which is magnificent and spectacular! After visiting Jokhang Temple, you can freely stroll around the more than 1300 year old Barkhor Street. Although it has gone through many vicissitudes, the old city style here is still intact, and the city life of Lhasa can be seen here at a glance.

(1) Visiting the Potala Palace requires an appointment, and the specific visit time will be approved and determined by the Potala Palace Management Office. Therefore, the itinerary for the day will be arranged according to the visit time of the Potala Palace to determine the order of the attractions.
(2) During the peak tourist season, the visit time to the Potala Palace is randomly allocated by the management office through a computer and divided into Line 1 or Line 2. The designated tour route for the day shall prevail.
(3) When visiting, it is necessary to follow all the taboos of Tibetan Buddhism, such as not wearing hats, not wearing skirts, not taking photos after entering the palace (some "outdoor scenes" can be taken outside the palace), not stepping on thresholds, and so on. All tourists are required to complete the visit within 1 hour, so please follow the tour guide closely inside the palace. The palace is relatively high, so you need to walk slowly when going up and down stairs; It's quite chilly inside the hall, so even in summer, it's best to prepare a coat.
(4) Visiting the Potala Palace requires security checks. Items such as knives, lighters, liquids, and gases cannot be brought in and must be placed in the hotel or car in advance.

Lhasa - Yangzhuoyongcuo (one of the three holy lakes) - Karura Glacier - Baiju Temple - Shigatse

After breakfast, climb over the 4990 meter high Gangbala Pass along the winding mountain road and arrive at the world's highest freshwater lake, the Yangzhuoyongcuo Observation Deck. Take a panoramic photo of Yangzhuoyongcuo at the mountaintop. The deep blue lake water blends seamlessly with the sky, making it difficult to distinguish whether the sky is bluer or the lake is bluer. Yangzhuoyongcuo Lake has an elevation of 4441 meters, a shoreline of 250 kilometers, and an area of 638 square kilometers. The lake water is as clear as sheep fat, with a sweet taste that can be consumed. The deep blue lake water connects with the distant snow capped mountains, along with the colorful mountains on both sides, distinctive Tibetan villages, and scattered cattle and sheep, forming a stunning painting. Later, I went down to the lakeside of Yanghu Lake and had an intimate encounter with the holy lake, taking photos to my heart's content.
Having lunch at Langkazi and admiring the Karura Glacier on the way, it is like a sleeping ice beauty, crystal clear and blue, a great work of art carved by time. After passing through the heroic city of Jiangzi, visit the Baiju Temple. Baiju Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist temple where the Sakya, Shalu, and Gelug schools coexist. It was first built in the second year of Xuande reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Ming Dynasty (1427) and took 10 years to complete. It is a typical Tibetan Buddhist temple architecture that combines towers and temples, with a temple within the tower and a tower within the temple. The temple and tower are seamlessly integrated, complementing each other. Its architecture fully showcases the typical style of temple architecture in the late 13th century to the mid-15th century in Tibet. Arriving at the important town of Shigatse in Tibet (3800 meters above sea level).

Shigatse Tashilhunpo Monastery (where Panchen Lama resided throughout history) - Lhasa

[Travel Overview]:
After breakfast, visit the political and religious center of Houzang - Tashilhunpo Monastery, which has also been the residence of successive Panchen Lamas, meaning "Jixiang Sumeru Monastery", and is the largest temple in the Houzang region. It is known as the "Four Great Temples" of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism, along with the "Three Great Temples" in Lhasa (Ganden Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery). The temple was built in 1447 and houses the world's largest indoor bronze statue of Qiangba, which is 26 meters high. You can visit the stupa halls of the 10th Panchen Lama, the 4th Panchen Lama, and the 5th to 9th Panchen Lama in sequence. Afterwards, return to Lhasa along the Lhasa Expressway.

Lhasa Nagenla Mountain Namtso Northern Tibetan Grassland Lhasa

After breakfast, you will arrive in Dangxiong, and then climb [Nagenla Mountain] (5190 meters above sea level) to the Tianhu Lake, one of the three holy lakes in Xizang -- [Namco]. It is the highest holy lake in the world, with an altitude of 4718 meters and an area of approximately 1920 square kilometers. Looking at the holy lake from afar, the water and sky merge into one color, the blue sky blends seamlessly with the blue lake, and the islands in Namtso Lake are scattered and varied. Standing on the Zhaxi Peninsula, in the distance are continuous snow capped mountains, endless grasslands in northern Tibet, colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and ripples on the lake surface. The scenery is magnificent and breathtaking, and you can take photos and pose in various shapes to your heart's content.
Then drive back to Lhasa, and the scenery along the way is full of Xizang characteristics, snow capped mountains, blue sky, and the scenery of northern Tibet grassland.

(1) Namtso has a low temperature, please pay attention to keeping warm; Please prepare a sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for a long outdoor stay.
(2) The scenery of Namtso is spectacular, with a sea like aura, and it looks even more magnificent against the backdrop of snow capped mountains. It is recommended to wear bright clothes or a colorful scarf for better photo effects.
