Detailed itinerary

Fly from various places to Linzhi - Linzhi airport pick-up - Sejila Mountain (viewing Mount Namjagbarwa from a distance) - Lulang Forest Sea - Lulang Town

[Itinerary Overview]:
After arriving in Linzhi, we will present Hada to welcome you, and then go east along National Highway 318 and cross Sejila Mountain. At the top of [Sejila Mountain] (4720 meters above sea level), if the weather is fine, you can see China's most beautiful mountain [Mount Namjagbarwa] (7782 meters above sea level). This mountain is covered with snow all year round, surrounded by clouds and mist, and it is rare to show its full appearance. October to May of the following year is the best time to see it, so it is called a snow mountain where "meeting depends on fate" by many outdoor enthusiasts.
After that, go down the mountain and drive in the primeval forest, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the road. The [Lulang Forest Sea] along the way is the original forest with the largest timber accumulation in Tibet. It has been known as the "Little Switzerland of the East" since ancient times. Stay at Lulang International Tourism Town at night.

Warm Tips:
1. This day is very critical for tourists who are visiting Tibet for the first time. Most guests will experience altitude sickness to varying degrees. In addition to maintaining a calm state of mind, drinking more water, eating more fruits, and getting enough rest are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness. At the same time, do not drink alcohol, smoke less, and do not take a shower that night.
2. Due to the special conditions in Tibet, most hotels are slightly inferior to hotels of the same level in the mainland in terms of hardware and software; and because of the special region and culture of Tibet, the service awareness of hotel staff is relatively weak, and their attitude is also more casual. Please understand. If you need to add a quilt, you can contact the front desk attendant. Most hotels in Tibet use solar hot water supply. If it is cloudy, the hot water in the room may not be too hot. Please understand!
3. Sejila Pass is the best place to see Mount Namjagbarwa. The best time to see Mount Namjagbarwa is from October to May of the following year.

Lulang - Tongmai Bridge - Midui Glacier (the lowest glacier) - Bomi

Breakfast: Breakfast included in the hotel Lunch: ---- Dinner: ---- Accommodation: Bomi
After breakfast, take a proper rest. The oxygen content in Lulang is sufficient in the morning. You can breathe in the fresh air. Then bid farewell to Lulang and head to Bomi. After lunch, go to [Miduo Glacier], which is known as the lowest glacier in the world and is rated as one of the six most beautiful glaciers in China by "National Geographic China". The lower part of the glacier passes through the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest belt. The mountains on both sides are majestic and steep, and the snow-capped mountains and clouds are intertwined, like a dream, which is amazing.

Warm Tips:
The hotel conditions in Bomi are limited and cannot be compared with those in the city. Please understand.

Bomi - Guxiang Lake - Yani Wetland (Benri Sacred Mountain) - Nyingchi

[Itinerary Overview]:
After breakfast, go to [Guxiang Lake], which is the mother river of the Bomi people and has a unique beauty. The winding Parlung Zangbo River presents turquoise water in spring, and the forest in the distance spreads to the riverside, and above the forest is a glacier with heavy snow.
After lunch, go to [Yani National Wetland Park (Benri Sacred Mountain)], which combines rivers, rural scenery, sacred mountains and ancient temples, and historical clouds. The clear water of the Niyang River flows quietly here, and the grasslands, streams, cattle and sheep together form a landscape painting of the south of the Yangtze River in Tibet.
Then drive back to Linzhi and check in to the hotel.

Linzhi - Basongcuo (Red Sect Holy Lake) - Linla Expressway - Lhasa

[Itinerary Overview]:
After breakfast, go to the famous Red Sect Holy Lake [Basongcuo]. The shape of the lake is like a crescent moon embedded in the mountains and valleys. The lake water is clear and you can see the fish swimming in groups two or three meters below. The surrounding green mountains are like dark green, and the top of the mountain is covered with snow that never melts all year round. The snow-capped mountains by the lake and the snow-capped mountains reflected on the lake are intertwined, continuous and spectacular! On the [Zaxi Island] in the lake, there is a Nyingma (Red Sect) temple [Cozong Gongba Temple], which is said to have been built in the late Tang Dynasty. It has Gongbu characteristics and combines primitive worship with Tibetan Buddhist beliefs.
Afterwards, stop on the Tang-Tibet Ancient Road, as if you can see the mighty team of Princess Wencheng when she entered Tibet. In infinite nostalgia, return to Lhasa along the "Tang-Tibet Ancient Road", and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the Niyang River Valley along the way.

Lhasa City (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street)

[Itinerary Overview]:
After breakfast, visit the [Potala Palace], which is more than 3,700 meters above sea level and built on the Red Mountain (117 meters high, 13 floors, more than 360 meters long from east to west). "Potala" is the transliteration of Putuoluo, which means the palace where the Bodhisattva lives. It is a building that integrates palaces, temples and stupas. It is also the center of political and religious power in old Tibet. It is divided into the Red Palace and the White Palace. The Red Palace is the stupa of successive Dalai Lamas and various Buddhist halls; the White Palace is the winter palace of the Dalai Lama and the office of the local government of old Tibet.
[Jokhang Temple] Also known as "Zulakang", it means scripture hall in Tibetan. It has a history of 1,350 years and is the oldest temple in Lhasa. It is still a central temple with a high status in the entire Tibetan area. The temple enshrines a life-size gilded statue of Sakyamuni at the age of 12, as well as statues of Songtsen Gampo, Princess Wencheng and Princess Chizun. (You can experience the scene of Tibetans lighting butter lamps in Jokhang Temple and circumambulating the Barkhor Street. The whole Barkhor Street is filled with the sound of the six-syllable mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum". It is magnificent and spectacular!) After visiting Jokhang Temple, you can freely stroll around the Barkhor Street, which has a history of more than 1,300 years. Although it has gone through vicissitudes, the old city here is still intact, and the city life of Lhasa can be seen here.

Warm Tips:
(1) Reservations are required to visit the Potala Palace. The specific visiting time is approved by the Potala Palace Management Office. Therefore, the itinerary of the day will arrange the order of sightseeing according to the visiting time of the Potala Palace.
(2) During the peak tourist season, the visiting time of the Potala Palace is randomly assigned by the computer of the Management Office and is divided into Route 1 or Route 2. The designated tour route of the day shall prevail.
(3) When visiting, you need to observe all Tibetan Buddhist taboos, such as not wearing a hat, not wearing a skirt, not taking photos (photographing is prohibited after entering the palace, but some "exterior" photos can be taken outside the palace), not stepping on the threshold, etc. All tourists must complete the tour within 1 hour, so please follow the guide closely in the palace. The palace is high, so you should walk slowly when going up and down the stairs; it is cold inside the palace, so it is best to prepare a coat even in summer.
(4) Security checks are required when visiting the Potala Palace. Knives, lighters, liquids, gas and other items cannot be brought in and must be placed in the hotel or car in advance.

Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake (one of the three sacred lakes) - Lhasa

[Itinerary Overview]:
After breakfast, we will cross the [Gangbala Pass] at an altitude of 4,990 meters along the winding mountain road and arrive at the world's highest freshwater lake - [Yamdrok Lake Observation Deck], and take a [panoramic view of Yamdrok Lake] on the top of the mountain. The azure blue water of the lake blends with the sky, making it difficult to tell whether the sky is bluer or the lake is bluer. The lake surface is 4,441 meters above sea level, with a shoreline of 250 kilometers and an area of 638 square kilometers. The lake water is as clear as sheep fat, sweet and drinkable. The azure blue waters of the lake are connected to the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The mountains on both sides of the lake are colorful, the unique Tibetan villages and the cattle and sheep everywhere form a beautiful picture. Then we went down to the [Yanghu Lake] to get in close contact with the holy lake and take as many photos as we want.

Warm Tips:
(1) The itinerary for the day is to cross the 4990-meter Gangbala Mountain. The wind is strong at the mountain pass, so please prepare thick clothes to avoid catching a cold.
(2) There are local Tibetans selling items near the scenic area. Please bargain carefully.
(3) Pay special attention to the yaks or Tibetan mastiffs in the scenic area. If you want to take pictures, you can negotiate the price with the animal owner. Generally, it is 10 yuan in the off-season and 20 yuan in the peak season. You must not take pictures secretly. If you are caught by the owner taking pictures secretly, you may be harassed and asked to pay a high price. You will bear the consequences at your own risk. If you need to ride a yak to take pictures, please negotiate the price in advance!
